Now Accepting Proposals: Consultant to Develop Maryland Climate Solutions Tracker

Maryland Climate Partners is seeking a consultant to help develop the first phase of a new Maryland Climate Solutions Tracker. This tool will summarize progress on Maryland’s climate commitments and provide coalition members with a clear, organized view of policy implementation across sectors.

The consultant will:

  • Review and synthesize state climate plans and commitments,

  • Track progress on indicators such as funding, policy development stage, and emissions impacts,

  • Engage with state agencies and coalition members to gather insights, and

  • Produce a narrative report, database, and presentation for the coalition.

Key details:

  • Project window: December 1, 2025 – March 31, 2026 (start date negotiable)

  • Budget: Up to $7,500 (30–50 hours)

  • Deadline to apply: October 31, 2025

Ideal applicants will bring experience in climate or environmental policy research, strong synthesis and reporting skills, and familiarity with Maryland’s climate landscape.
